This painting combines a symbol of the city of Savannah, a banana spider, with a symbol of Washington, DC, a cherry blossom tree.


Here is a painting that I made for a painting exchange project (like pen pals with art). It was small, only about 4x4 inches. The subject matter? My favorite food, could it eat it everyday with no complaint, the artichoke. Yum.
I made this portrait of St. Genevieve for my friend Sabrina. Her husband asked me to paint it for her as a confirmation gift. Here's a photo of it as a sketch and one of the final painting.

 

Here is a picture of the last big acrylic painting that I made. I painted the mechanical nightingale from the Hans Christian Andersen story The Nightingale. I thought a mechanical bird would be surrounded by lightbulb fireflies. It was fun using rhinestones and puffy paint on this big canvas.
